Poser 6 or later. LuxRender v0.8 or higher (free download from http://www.luxrender.net)
Pose2Lux is distributed as a zip file containing several files. The only essential file is the python script 'pose2lux.pyc' (or 'pose2luxP6.pyc' if you are a Poser 6 user). The other files are utilities, examples and icon files that are not necessary for using Pose2Lux. The file 'pose2lux.pyc' can be run from any location on your computer, so you can extract it from the zip file and save it anywhere you like. However, it does have an option to save your settings and, if they are saved to the same folder in which Pose2Lux resides, they will be automatically loaded when Pose2Lux launches. To make use of this feature you will need to save Pose2Lux in a folder to which you have write access, so that you can save the settings file there too. Note: Poser 6 does not see .pyc files by default, only .py files. You will need to manually run the ‘pose2luxP6.pyc’ file via the drop-down menu.
