Drop-down menus! Coming soon to a Drupal near you...

The stuff I'm reading in the tutorials is bewildering in that it assumes much. I keep having to back up - "hang-on, what?" Apparently, those drop-down menus aren't a default nor considered all that great. Heck, who cares, I want 'em! But I'll let myself be talked out of them ... at some point, maybe, but for now, it's gonna happen. Finally getting links done. External ones, that is: the internal smart alias thing is already working pretty well. Great: got them built, now what?

Real Life and back again

It's been a funny old couple of days. I decided to take a break from Pose2Lux and venture back into the mystifying realms of the Real World. Didn't like it much, though it was good to hang out with some friends I hadn't seen in a while. The rest of the time, though, my mind kept drifting back to what needed to be done next with Pose2Lux. It's become a little bit addictive, but I guess that's ok - there's much worse things to be addicted to. Anyway, it looks like Pose2Lux is 'bedding in' quite nicely.

Site updates

Copy and paste from Rendo - because I'm lazy :D Just a quick update on the website: the manual is sort-of roughed in... still needs polishing and images. And possibly updating by the actual author, which is (as I understand) LaurieA. Let me know if you are able to access editing or if I need to give you additional privileges... still getting the ol' grey matter around Drupal, so I might have missed something. Oh, and anyone I might need to assign more privileges to, please let me know.

From my iPhone - just because I can

So, I'm at my daughter's boyfriend's birthday party and for once, I'm *early*! but having a glass of wine and it's all good.

Cool! Come on in, guys!

Okay, so a quick update to the co-admins: I'll go ahead and stub in your FAQ like NOW, Snarly, and then work on getting links made - it's more than just pasting some a href stuff on a page - and get the manual (Book) going. *This* week. :)
Am actually setting up MySQL on my laptop and going to have a version of this site running so I can test stuff on it before migrating it here.
Sheesh, not enough hours in the day! :o|

A muddly day

I'm the kind of person who likes to be neat and tidy - 'a place for everything and everthing in its place'. So when things start to unravel I can't rest until I've sorted them out, and today things are getting a bit muddly! I've started looking at John Cleaver's Incredible Disappearing Car problem, whereby parts of the car vanish whenever microdisplacement is applied, sometimes taking the rest of the scene with them!

Just a quick note

Hi, this is the site developer here: Robyn is my name. If you happen to have wandered onto the page and are reading this, I wanted you to sort-of have an idea what the heck is going on. I'm a Poser user who has wanted to try other programmes (renderers) to make images in. Pose2Lux is a script which allows Poser users to export/convert their Poser scene into something that Luxrender (a free stand-alone renderer) can read and use. The point of this site is to provide a central place for downloads, discussions, updates and possibly also a gallery.
