Welcome to Pose2Lux.com. Pose2Lux is a powerful, full-featured Python script that allows Poser users to render their scenes in LuxRender. You can download the latest copy here.
Pose2Lux gives Poser 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 and all versions of Poser Pro users the option to use a renderer other than what comes with Poser (Firefly): LuxRender. After creating a scene (Pz3) in Poser, the user "exports" the scene, materials and lighting via the Pose2Lux script from within Poser to a format that LuxRender can read, and from which it can then create an image.
Important note: our software developer Snarlygribbly has decided to write a wxPython version of Pose2Lux. Work will begin in January. Support for the current version, Pose2Lux Pro, will continue. wxPython means Mac 64bit compatibility and an improved user interface for everyone. It will, however, require Poser 8 or later to run. While he could just duplicate the functionality of Pose2Lux Pro, he am prepared, if there is sufficient support, to fundamentally redesign it based on the best ideas you may have.
